Should I Open a Franchise?

Becoming a small business owner is part of the American dream for many people, and franchising opportunities can often be the perfect choice to achieve your entrepreneurial goals. But before you jump into franchising, you may consider asking yourself, “Should I open a franchise?” The answer, of course, depends on what your reasons are for wanting to do so in the first place, and what you’re hoping to get out of it in the long run. It also depends an whether you’re able to step out of your head for a time and take a good hard look at your strengths and weaknesses as a business professional.

As with anything in life, franchising is not a guarantee that you’ll be the next big thing in the business world. There are both benefits and risks with every available franchise opportunity, but the good news is, franchising does give you the peace of mind that you’re becoming part of a team of individuals with the experience and knowledge you need to be successful. This team is one of the major benefits that comes with franchising, along with proven methods and assistance to not only get your business off the ground, but to make it grow by leaps and bounds.

If your currently considering the possibility of franchising, there are a few important factors that may influence your decision. There are many benefits that typically come along with any franchise opportunity including:

  • An Organized System – Signing on to a franchise opportunity is also signing on to a tested system that will reduce the amount of risk you take on when opening your business. It comes with a clear and successful direction, and takes away the guess work you would normally encounter when beginning a new venture.
  • Assistance – When opening a franchise … you are not alone. There is an entire team of individuals completely dedicated to making your new business successful.
  • Ongoing Support – Maybe you’ve been open a month, or maybe you’ve been open 5 years. No matter how long you’ve been in business, franchise opportunities give you the ongoing support you need to ensure your business is thriving.
  • Marketing Power – Benefit from the effective marketing strategies developed by your parent company and the trickle down effect from campaigns funded by corporate funds.

These are just a few of the many benefits that you receive as soon as you take that first step to open your very own franchise. If you would like information about iDropped’s excellent franchise opporunities, please feel free to reach out to us today.

Apple Unveils iPhone 6 and Apple Watch

Well, the news it out on the highly anticipated Apple reveal that occurred Tuesday in Silicon Valley. Apparently bigger IS better, but only as far as the iPhone 6 is concerned as the tech giant also unveils their first wearable computer.

Before we get into the details of the Apple Watch, let’s first have a look at the new features and sizes available for the iPhone 6. The device’s screen measures in at 4.7 inches, compared to the 4 inch screen of Apple’s previous model, the iPhone 5. The company didn’t stop there, however, now offering the iPhone 6 Plus at a whopping 5.5 inches, beating out the size of the Galaxy S5 by .4 of an inch. Despite the larger screen size, both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are thinner than their predecessors with 25 percent faster processing.

According the NY Times, the new phone release is Apple’s attempt to keep up with demand as consumers crave larger screens on their phones much like they do on their televisions. On the other hand (pun intended), Apple has also recognized public interest in wearable devices, and the Apple Watch is the company’s answer to compete with other similar tech on the market from Samsung, Pebble, and Sony.

According to an interview with Apple’s Chief Executive Timothy Cook, the company isn’t concerned about being behind in the watch game.

“For us, it’s never been about being first. It’s been about being the best,” said Cook. “And I think we just launched the Apple watch that is sort of in a category by itself that will redefine what people expect of products in the category.”

With apps developed and currently in development for the Apple Watch, one can only imagine the future possibilities for the device. Unfortunately, only time will tell if the initial hype will garner popularity for the product and turn into serious sales numbers.

What do you think about the new iPhone6, iPhone 6 Plus, and Apple Watch, and do you feel they are must haves for your personal tech arsenal? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!
